Get to know your DJ

Hey! I’m Collin. I LOVE this job. I get to connect with amazing people, help them plan a wonderful day, and then I get to party with them. Seriously, does it get better than that?

Since 2021, I’ve hosted over 300 events. In 2025 I joined UP Event Group, a small team of rad DJs in the Twin Cities working to create incredible events.

When I’m not celebrating with my charming couples and their crews, I love to be active and spend time with my friends, family, and Taco Bell. My passions include:

• Collecting outdoor hobbies: I seem to pick up a new hobby every year. (In 2024 it was “wing foiling” — if you see someone falling in Lake Nokomis while holding a giant kite looking thing, there’s a decent chance it’s me.) When the wind’s not blowing, I’m out swimming, running, and walking along the lakes and Mississippi. When I'm not rolling in my van full of DJ gear, I try to commute by bike or e-bike, and I also do a bit of bike-packing here and there.

• Travel: I love to travel in the off season. Internationally, I’ve been to Vietnam, Morocco, Costa Rica, and Italy. I make annual trips out west to visit family in Colorado and run a relay race in Montana. I also love the Driftless region of the Midwest and am a big fan of small towns.

• Taco Bell: Google Maps thinks it’s my home. Send me your go to order and I’ll rank it and offer suggestions. Bonus points to the couples that want to have a consultation at T-Bell.

• Movies: Big fan of: Arnold, Rom Coms, Bad Sci-Fi.
